1.00 PART I GENERAL

1.01 Drawings and General Provisions as specified apply to this Section.

1.03 Shop drawings submitted upon request.

1.04 All turnstiles and handicap gates available in mechanical and electronic in clockwise. Counterclockwise or bi-directional movement of travel.

2.00 PART II PRODUCTS

2.01 Turnstile models as manufactured by SENTRONIC® International, Brunswick, Ohio.

2.02 A. CLASSIC(TM) Series - 3 Arm
CS79 Floor Mount

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housing and cover cap.
• b. Arms: Steel reinforced molded black urethane, "warm to the touch".
• c. Control Head: Utilizes patented undulating cam principle, with automatic 120° indent and shock suppresser features.
• d. Height: 37"; Depth: 11-14"; Width: 26".
• e. Standard Finish: Silver. Matte Gray or Beige housing, Black cover cap and arms. Custom finish: Ask for details. For Options, see Section 2.03.

CW79 Wall Mount

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housing with bottom half of housing eliminated allowing turnstile to be mounted on wall at any height, Black cover cap.
• b. Arms: Steel reinforced molded black urethane "warm to the touch".
• c. Control Head: Utilizes patented undulating cam principle with automatic 120° indent and shock suppresser features.
• d. Length: 10"; Width: 26"; Depth: 11-14".
• e. Standard Finish: Silver, Matte Gray or Beige housing, Black cover cap and arms. Custom Finish: Ask for details. For Options, see Section 2.03.

CD79 Tandem - Floor Mount

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housings and cover caps.
• b. Arms: Steel reinforced molded black urethane, "warm to the touch".
• c. Control Heads: Utilize patented undulating cam principle, with automatic 120° indent and shock suppresser features.
• d. Height: 37"; Depth: 11-14"; Width: 52" (2 CS79 floor mount units mounted back-to-back).

CP79 Portable

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housing and cover cap, mounted on a base plate approximately 24" x 30" with side rail.
• b. Arms: Steel reinforced molded black urethane, "warm to the touch".
• c. Control Head: Utilizes patented undulating cam principle, with automatic 120° indent and shock suppresser features.
• d. Height: 37"; Depth: 11-14"; Width on base plate: approximately 30".
• e. Standard Finish: Silver, Matte Gray or Beige housing, Black cover cap and Dark Gray base and rail. Custom Finish: Ask for details. For Options, see Section 2.03.

2.02 B. CLASSIC(TM) SERIES - HANDICAP GATE - 1-ARM

HG81 Floor Mount

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housing and cover cap.
• b. Arm: Single, aluminum horizontal bar, 34" (or longer), 90° movement in either or both directions.
• c. Control Head: Utilizes patented undulating cam principle in special head to move arm smoothly.
• d. Height: 37"; Depth: 11-14"; Length: 44" (with 34" arm).
• e. Standard Finish: Silver, Matte Gray or Beige housing, Black cover cap and arm. Custom Finish: Ask for details. For Options, see Section 2.03.

HG81W Wall Mount

• a. Solid die-cast, rustproof aluminum housing, with bottom half of housing eliminated to be mounted on wall at any height, Black cover cap.

• b. Arm: Single, aluminum horizontal bar, 34" long, 90° movement in either or both directions.
• c. Control Head: Utilizes patented undulating cam principle in special head to move arm smoothly.
• d. Height: 37"; Depth: 11-14"; Length: 44" (with 34" arm).
• e. Standard Finish: Silver, Matte Gray or Beige housing with Black cover cap and arm, Dark Gray base plate and rail. Custom Finish: Ask for details. For Options, see Section 2.03.

2.03
A. OPTIONS FOR ALL TURNSTILES AND HANDICAP GATE SERIES All units available in clockwise, counterclockwise or bi-directional movement of travel.

• a. Electronic Lock (EL3); includes rotary solenoid (24 VDC reduced to 110 Volts, .845 amps running current); spur gear and gear rack; one lock for one-way control, two locks for bi-directional control. Available in Fail-safe (open on power failure) or Fail-Lock (lock on power failure) modes.
• b. Interfacing: (INT12) to ID card reader or other system supplied by others.
• c. Counters: Non-Reset or Reset by means of a key.
• d. Keylock: (KL1) Control direction of travel manually by key to lock or unlock, or may be used to override electronic controls.
• e. Remote control: Lock, unlock directional or bi-directional movement of travel by means of push button feature.
• f. Additional options available on inquiry.

3.00 PART III EXECUTION

3.01
A. Purchaser to install units in accordance with manufacturer's shop drawings and installation manual.
B. Warranty: Units are warranted against defects in Materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of delivery. See Warranty information for specific details.
