foam, to protect aluminum finish during layout, on the floor in
the location the turnstile will be placed.
- Place canopy on foam
aluminum clad side down.
- Center punch all ¾" holes and 2" center
hole.
- Mark on floor which ¾" holes will use the hollow mounting
tubes. The hollow tube is used to run card reader wires.
- Remove the canopy and protect from damage.
- Drill ¾" holes, using a
7/8" bit and no more than 3" deep. Completely clean out concrete
dust from holes.
- Take one yoke panel with shipping straps still
attached and place in each set of holes to check for accuracy.
- Prepare LiquidRoc 300 per instructions on package. Pour LiquidRoc
300 into holes, all except for the service pin location,1/3 of the
way up hole.
- Remove bottom shipping strap and nuts from yoke
panels. Insert yoke panels in holes. Clear away any excess epoxy
around the service yoke pivot point.
- Remove shipping straps
and nuts from the top of the yoke panels. Install canopy aluminum
side down. Bolt down using the nuts from the shipping strap.
- Attach canopy to wall at each end to stabilize. Check for level.
- Center bearing assembly on 2" hole. Mark the holes for 3/8"
concrete anchors. Clean holes. At this point the unit should be
stabilized and level, and now rotor installation can begin.
- Attach bearing cup to floor using 3/8" concrete anchors. Install
bearing assembly on rotor. *IMPORTANT REMOVE ROTOR FROM SHIPPING
CRATE AND PLACE IN VERTICAL POSITION WITHOUT PUTTING STRESS ON LEXAN
PANELS. THIS PROBABLY REQUIRES 4 PEOPLE TO ACCOMPLISH.
- Slide
rotor in to center and lift slightly to place bearing in the bearing
cup. Rotate rotor until one arm is pointing to the middle yoke panel.
Install control head.

plugging in the power supply.
